Taken late Saturday afternoon (29th March 2008) from a lookout on The Esplanade in Mount Martha, Victoria, Australia. I’ve dropped the midtones down a tad and converted the photo to black and white… it needed it. While the day was overcast and gloomy enough as it was, with clouds roiling on the horizon, it just needed that touch of ominousness to keep me happy. Yes, Morticia Adams and I would’ve made fine friends and, yes, I think the thorns of the rose are particularly delightful and inviting
