- Nitsa’s ‘Non Photography – No Rules Street Photography
Nitsa takes what might otherwise be an ordinary snap shot taken on the fly and creates the most amazing images with such depth and impact through textured overlays and her wonderful eye for detail. While she cites herself as not being an artist, there is no other term for her body of work than sheer artistry.
- Nitsa can also be found here at her ‘Still Alive: Experimental and Creative Photography’ blog
- and here is a gallery of Nitsa’s work
- and her books are available through Lulu.com. Here are links to the four on my wish list!

I Am Not An Artist: Unconventional And Creative Photography - No Rules Street Photography
- The Streets Are Alive: Photoblog
- Just Another Photo Book
- At this rate I’m going to wind up linking to ALL of her books individually, so I’ll make it easier… all of her books are available here Nitsa’s Books via Lulu
- Dave Beckerman: New York Photography
I’m particularly enamoured of his black and white photography
- Guesswork (formerly Good Fight)
- The Wonderful
With Juvita Pingiaro’s soaring, passionate vocals, Joel Wheeler’s heartbreakingly beautiful guitar and the soul-stirring strings of Cassie Wallis on cello, Guesswork create an exquisite blend of heart and soul. Now with the addition of Luke Mears on drums and Ben Clacy on bass, Guesswork are back in the studio recording their forthcoming album “This One’s Out Of My Hands”. The sound is deeper, broader and gutsier and the new song lyrics are as passionate as ever, ranging from the heartbreakingly poignant “Sinking Sands” to the deep bite of “Handful”.

Upbeat, often quirky, pop/rock from one of Australia’s best (as yet) unsigned bands. With Olly providing guitars and vocals, Scuzzi – Vocals and Guitar, and Noel Tenney on drums.
In the realms of sheer laziness, I’m going to do a cut and paste regarding Mr. John Birmingham… his little spiel is far more articulate (not to mention concise!) than anything I could concoct for him. So…
- Blunt Instrument

In this fast-paced go-go world of ours some issues are too important to be left to the ham-fisted, half-arsed witless hysterics of so-called web journalism. But that’s too bad. Because that’s all John Birmingham has. He’s unfair, unreasonable and often unbalanced – but in a good way. Words are weapons, and this weapon is a Blunt Instrument. - Scaffolding For Writers
